My Little Tiger

Happy First Halloween!
This was Brenden's first Halloween and he had a great time
...so great that he only took one nap today.
I know!
We went to Larry's to visit the pumpkin patch
and do a little photo shoot of course.
Then, off to Stacie's for a little Halloween party.
After, we went back home and took Brenden and Kylah Trick-Or-Treating.
The baby had a blast looking at all of the decorations
 and visiting with the neighbors.
Someone was so excited to get a pumpkin full of chocolate....
that's me...woo hoo! I made out.
The weather was awesome and we can't wait til next year...
he will be walking of course.
Except, I will definitely be decorating my golf cart
and taking that around.
Apparently, that's what they are used for too.
 Anyway, Happy Halloween.

He actually tried to pick that pumpkin up!

I even let him play on the ground...

Check out the hay in his hand. My little explorer.

So cute!

Say cheese!

Getting a special Halloween treat from mommy.

He loves his daddy!

Off we go!

My little tiger.

Country Club Here We Come

Look at my new set of wheels!!!
I have the best Father-In-Law ever.
It was such a pleasant surprise to find out that he found this golf cart on Craigslist and got it for us.
He always finds the most amazing deals.
It is basically like new and I love it.....so does Brenden.
I guess we will have to join the Country Club now.
Thanks Papa Gary!

I Love Our Neighborhood

Can I just say how much we love our neighborhood? No wonder it was the only area we even considered. I feel like I am on vacation every morning. I describe it as a mix of Tahoe and Napa. It feels like you are in the country, but really only minutes from city living. That's the best part. My favorite thing to do with Brenden...even when he was in my tummy...is go for long walks. Now that he is out and in the stroller, he loves them. Every morning after breakfast we go on an adventure and he just takes it all in, then falls asleep. Being in this neighborhood, makes our walks even more special.

Today, I took all sorts of pictures. The views are breathtaking, from the many vineyards to the mountains, the creek, wineries, tall mature trees lining the very wide streets, no sidewalks, no streetlights, the golf course and country club, orchards of persimmons, lemons, walnuts...., and never ending impeccably maintained houses. I live here! It takes my breath away every morning. The best part is the neighbors...everyone knows everyone and everyone knows that I am the new girl. They literally stop us in their golf cart and welcome us to the neighborhood. Yes! A golf cart....I so want one. Enjoy!

I walk by all of this...and more.

View from the kitchen table

For fun....Up the long steep hill....buns of steel.

The Creek....deer just wander around too.

The view from the top of the hill.

Lots of trees

The Country Club

Persimmons

More Vineyards

Almost back home

Going down a hill

I want one!!!
Our street... the house is at the end of the court. Great Location!

Never Moving Again

Never moving again....at least that's our life long plan. But if we ever do, we are packing this s*** up in 1000 boxes and hiring movers no matter what it costs. Seriously! This move took a toll on us all. I thought it would never end. I don't know how many trips we made from house to house, then unpacking it all, then finding a place to put it. OMG!!!!

Oh yeah, Ryan broke his hand in the midst of it all. Uggggh! His right hand...yup we needed that hand. Good thing my parents came up to visit and help. I could have never done all of the things I did. At least, we have some order and I know where most things are. But, I am still finding boxes in random places.

However, I love everything about this house. Everything! The neighbors are awesome. They had an annual block party yesterday, so we got to meet everyone at once. What an awesome place for Brenden to grow up in! Everyone knows each other, they help out, and they are super friendly.

Waiting for the big guys to arrive and haul stuff away.

I put all of my clothes in trash bags and left them on the hanger...it was so easy to move and hang back in my new closet. I must have had at least 10 of these. It got annoying.

Ryan's broken hand. It was in a temporary cast for a week, but now it's in a splint for about six weeks. Boys!!!!

Brenden sleeping in the vineyards behind our house. He loves our walks.

The house was chaotic, so Brenden enjoyed hanging out in the empty dining room in this plastic pool with his tools.

Kylah unpacking all of her clothes....doesn't she look happy?

Goodbye toys in the office! I hope!!!!
XOXO,

Tania

Brenden :: Ten Months

Happy 10 month birthday my love!

I am a little late with this post....we have just officially moved into our new house on Sunday. So things have been a little crazy. We are never moving again!

I can't even handle how old you look in your monthly photos this month. You are growing up way too fast, little boy.
This month you had us chasing you around like crazy people. You are cruising along furniture and crawling everywhere....you have such a funny crawl. It looks like your leg is hurt. Standing up is the thing to do. You have great balance and  get so excited that you constantly start talking to us nonstop. I am sure you will walk any day now.

Eating is your favorite activity. You love to eat using our spoons, not baby ones and you eat anything. All vegetables, fruits, beans, rice, pasta.....you name it. I can't get over the fact that I have never had to buy bottles, formula, or baby food. You are the easiest!

You know your name. You know when you're doing or grabbing something you're not supposed to because you get that devilish look on your face then try to run away from me. It's pretty hilarious. You are such a people person. You hold serious conversations with all of your babbling and you really think everyone is talking to you. So funny to watch! You impress crowds of people wherever I go....with your sweet disposition and amazing behavior. It doesn't hurt that you are sooooo handsome.

I'm pretty sure you know we are 'mama' and 'dada'. You definitely know your dad because you call for him when you want to play and not sleep... And I know you know mama because you only ever say it when you cry or are hungry and tired. I'll take what I can get.

Still amazing, awesome and more than we could of ever dreamed. Thanks for being a cool kid, BC. Love you to the moon and back!

XOXO,

Tania
