5 Things

The weather up here has been wet and gloomy. But life goes on...here is what we have been up to...
We made a quick trip down south to visit my family, Brenden had his first ER visit, the grapevines have all been pruned, everything out there is green and beautiful, and of course volleyball.

Trip down south...Brenden used his new big boy car seat for the first time and slept for 5 hours on the drive there. He is awesome. We also went to my nephews' birthday party. It was a nice visit!
Helping me pack...hmmmm.

Getting ready to go on the long drive in his new car seat.

He loved jumping on the trampoline and did not want to leave or get down.

Happy Birthday Tyler and Christian...whoa 50+ kids!

First Emergency Room visit.... The baby has had a low grade fever for a couple of days without any symptoms, so we figured he was just teething. Well, Wednesday night he woke up crying and had a weird wheezing sound. It was sad and kind of scary to see him like that so we decided to go to the ER. It was about 2am when we got there. Luckily, the waiting room was completely empty and we got right in. The diagnosis...Croup. He had a breathing treatment at first, then a steroid shot in his thigh to help with the inflammation and lastly another breathing treatment with medicine in it. We had to wait a couple of hours later so the doctor could make sure he sounded better and at 6:30 am we finally were discharged. Oh and by the way, the baby did not fall asleep til 5:00am. We made it just in time to see Kylah off to school and then all 3 of us went to bed. What a day! He is all better now.
In the waiting room looking sad

He hated this on his finger

Just relaxing on the bed....not sleeping

Cuddling with daddy

Pruning the grapevines....the vineyards are all ready to go! I can't believe the manual labor that goes into pruning these grapevines.  2 workers went up and down the vineyards one by one with shears and cut down the old vines. It was amazing to think that a machine can not do this.
The grapevines on the left still need to be pruned.

Workers are working hard.

Green Valley ....Thanks to all of the rain it is really green out in the valley!

More volleyball.... and of course the baby has to be involved and keep busy during the games. Everybody loves him there. He is a star!

Playing with cups and condiment packets.....keeping him busy and off the court.

XOXO,

Tania
