Aloha from Maui

We are back in Cali,
but still on island time.
It feels great to be back at home.
However, our first day back was pretty jam packed.
Our flight got in at midnight,
Kylah had school, Ryan had work and I had a busy day with my B.C.
Maui was awesome!
Grandma Lynn treated us to this family trip
and it was wonderful.
Thank you!
The cousins loved spending time together
and the adults had a lot of fun.
The house we stayed at was beyond gorgeous and
just perfect for all of us to have our own space.
The kids loved that we had our own elevator!
We did a lot of relaxing...
in the beautiful pool,
the beach,
snorkeling,
walking and driving around the island,
"Local Boys" shave ice was our favorite,
shopping of course,
enjoyed a Luau,
had a yummy Easter Dinner at Tommy Bahamas,
and too much drinking and eating the entire time.
Ryan and I even made time to get a massage.
The baby loved the water sooo much, it was crazy.
He is my little golden boy with his tan.
Anyway, I have lots of pictures.
Next is Kauai in June.
Enjoy!

He slept the first 2 hours of the flight.

This is what he did the next 3 hours.

Happy Easter!

This rocky pool entrance was great for babies!

Waaaaaah! That is "I want to go in the water."

He loved the water!!!

Morning walks were amazing.

The pool waterfalls were Brenden's favorite.

Loves his Daddy!

Far Western Reno Tournament

Woo hoo!
We are back home from Reno.
We got home last night and it is so good to be home.
I get crazy when we go on vacation...a little OCD.
All unpacked, laundry done, house back in order
and my checklist is now deleted.
So I wanted to get all the pictures off of the camera and do this blog.
Because I have to repack and get ready for Maui.
I just can't imagine dealing with Brenden on the plane. OMG!
Reno was very different than last year....where all he did was sleep.
Thank god he slept the whole 3 hour drive there.
BC was into everything,
only wanted to walk,
touch everything,
pick and throw rocks,
follow kids,
and flirting with girls...of course.
On top of all of that,
Kylah was sick,
then the baby got sick.
But we still had 3 days of volleyball!
It ended up great.
Our team made it to the semifinals and
ended up number 4 out of 93 teams.
They did awesome!
Enjoy!

It was a beautiful drive.

This Shamrock shake made me happy.

Still lots of snow in the mountains.

We made it in 3 hours and BC slept the whole way.

He loved to pick rocks and move them around. I am sure many parents will find surprises in their bags or ice chests.

Playing with the snacks were a great distraction.

Woot woot! They placed numbers 4 out of 93 teams.

Yum! Mini blueberry muffins.

More rocks! Uggggh.

XOXO,

Tania

Grandma Lynn's Retirement Party

Grandma Lynn is officially retired!
Amelia planned an amazing party at the Walnut Creek Yacht Club.
I loved that her close family and friends joined us to celebrate.
The food was very delicious and it was nice to see everyone.
Happy Retirement!

Where has April gone?

Where has April gone?
It just keeps going and going!
My parents came to visit us for the week
and it has been so nice having them up here.
Brenden is going to go through withdrawals
because he has them wrapped around his little finger.

So much has been going on...
my parents came up for the week,
packing for our Reno volleyball tournament,
planning for our Maui vacation,
Hosting the end of the year team party,
 Brenden's Christening party in May,
And...
I went back to work!
I know!
It just happened so suddenly and I couldn't pass up the job offer.
It was exactly what I had in mind when I got my real estate license.
A luxury boutique real estate company where everyone knows everyone.
Only 2 minutes down the street from my house,
I make my own hours and Brenden doesn't have to go to daycare.
This ad comes out in tomorrow's newspaper.
 It's my first advertisement!

Tania

Happy 70th Birthday Papa Gary

Papa Gary is 70!
We had an awesome time getting together with the family for a private dinner at Aviator's in the Sacramento Executive Airport.
The kids loved watching the planes go by and
we had the entire room to ourselves.

Marcie came from New York! We missed her.

Vic's ice cream cake! Yummy.

XOXO,

Tania

Brenden : : 16 Months

Happy 16 Months my love!!!

What a big boy!

+ 10 official chompers. His canine teeth just came in.
+ Loves loves loves dancing to any kind of music. He does this side to side motion and drops it to the ground really well. He has rhythm and he is not shy about showing anyone his skills.

+He is such an outdoorsy boy. When I let him free outside, he loves to pick up rocks, scoop dirt, look for lizards....anything to get dirty. Ughhhhhh! So different from Kylah. And throws a fit when he has to come inside.

+ We are still nursing at night, but only about 3 times during the day!

+ New words include Ball, Play, Book, Wow, Yum

+ You know that threshold when suddenly your baby starts to look like a kid? That has officially happened and I'm dumbfounded as to when I missed this miraculous transformation. I know I am a broken record but it is going by way too fast.

XOXO,
Tania
