Sickening Spinach

Well...my little love isn't sure about the health benefits of spinach. Apparently, it doesn't taste that great when it is pureed.

My Big Boy

 

As you can see, my little man has grown a lot.
It makes me kind of sad....time just flies by, sometimes too quickly. 

My big boy is no longer stationary.

He rolls and rolls.

Crawls.

Grabs everything.

 Sits up.

Bottom front tooth is making an appearance.

Puts everything in his mouth.

So...

  We have made some changes around our house

 to keep up with these changing times.

Bassinet is out

Small Swing Out

Jumperoo raised to next level

Swing straps loosened

High Chair lives in kitchen now

Changing Table...gone

No more newborn bathtub in kitchen,

Infant bathtub in bathroom

Changing area on couch...gone

Now we have to childproof the house.

5 Things

 *  Well...I can't use this small swing anymore! I use to put it in front of my vanity and sit him in there while I showered, but this is what he was doing when I came out.

 *  Woo hoo! Kylah got accepted to Justin-Siena. It was a pretty intense application process, but she is in. So looking forward to High School....not excited about eating Cup O' Noodles for dinner everyday. :)

 *Disneyland ticket prices increased this summer. Good thing I found these gift cards at Safeway selling for the old prices. So glad baby is free!!! Brenden is going to love it...us too of course.

 * Congratulations EJ! Kylah's older brother graduated from UCLA yesterday. We are so very proud of him. We can't wait to celebrate with him.

*  Larry's Produce had it's opening day today! It always opens sometime in June and closes in December before the holidays. If there is such a thing as a "blockbuster" produce stand, this place is it. Everything is local and I love to stock up on produce and fill bags up and walk out of there without hitting $20.  You also get to enjoy a beautiful scenic drive through the country.

Lake Tahoe Wedding

Ryan's friend Jon got married in Lake Tahoe on Sunday. So Kylah spent the night with her best friend Emily and we drove up there for the day. The drive was beautiful the whole way up...but then we got there....thunder, lightning and rain. What a great day for a wedding, yeah right! The ceremony was small and on the beach, but it cleared up just in time for that. Baby was asleep, so we left him in the stroller and parked him on the sand next to us. He woke up just in time for drinks and appetizers. You know him... he always has to be the social man of the hour. Constant flirting and smiling with the ladies! It was nice to hang out with all of our friends.

Addicted to Avocados

I decided to try an avocado for Brenden to eat after he had rice cereal for about a week. He thought it was spectacular and is now addicted.

Exploring San Francisco

The baby had to take pictures for a new casting agency in San Francisco, so we decided to make a family day out of it and explore the city on foot. It was such an awesome day! The weather in the city was perfect and we must have walked at least 10 miles altogether from 11am when we got there til 8pm when we left. We parked the car and just walked wherever the stroller took us. That baby is such a little traveler. He slept while we walked and when he woke up, Ryan put him in the carrier and he loved looking at everything. I liked that we had no plans! We walked around the Embarcadero, Financial District, shopped in the San Francisco Centre, North Beach, China Town, Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39, then back to our car. It was a fun family day! Enjoy the pictures.
