College Decision Day

After being accepted to all 10 of the top universities in California,
Kylah finally made a decision.
The winner is...UCLA!!!
It's been a long 4 years of nonstop studying, testing and stressing.
But she finished off with such a high GPA that it's pretty sickening,
got amazing test scores,
 received the highest honors
and was offered unreal academic scholarships.
This is such a special moment for us and we are so very proud,
but I still get very emotional thinking that she will be leaving us soon.
We want her to experience college life,
have an amazing time,
and continue her academic success to prepare for law school.
After all, we do everything for our kids
so that they aren't just like us,
but have even better experiences
and become a greater version of us.

Spring Break in New York

Easter in New York was amazing!
The weather was beautiful and
we went on many great adventures.
Brenden ate pizza almost everyday.
We slept in,
walked thousands of miles a day,
stayed up late,
and enjoyed every minute of it.
Loved the city life
and can't wait to go back again...
But so glad to be back home!
Such a little traveler

From flood to snow

After living here for 3 years, we've experienced 2 floods already
and it hasn't happened in 20 plus years
I guess the drought is over!!!
Luckily, no water got into the house
because that was my biggest fear.
Anyways it was pretty scary,
the garage was flooded
 and the water was high
So now, we have our own water pump,
Ryan dug an underground ditch,
we have plenty of sandbags
and we are somewhat prepared for the next 20 years.
Also, we went to Tahoe for the weekend in January
Brenden loved seeing the snow for the first time
The weather couldn't have been any better and the snow was perfect
