Hello Summer

The graduation festivities are almost over,
and we are finally back from our 2 week vacation in Balboa Island.
After Ryan's 3 week vacation, things are starting get back to normal.
The weather in Newport Beach was amazing, it stayed mostly in the 70's and we were
happy to hear that we missed the extremely hot weather at home.
Kylah's friend, Anna, drove down with us and spent a week with us before flying home. On the way down, stopped in Morro Bay for lunch at Grandma Lynn's, and then stayed at my parents in Oxnard for a few days before heading to Balboa. Our days were spent at Ruby Beach relaxing and boogie boarding, while Brenden played in the sand for hours. As always, we passed the time walking around the island, eating delicious frozen bananas, ice cream, hippo cookies, balboa bars, riding the ferry, walking on the pier, playing games at the arcade, renting a boat and spending Father's Day with our best. Brenden ended the vacation with 400 tickets and brought home so many junky prizes.
I loved that we had quite a few visitors! My mom, sister, Dave, all 3 nephews, sister in law, and Annie all came at different times and spent time with us touring and enjoying the island. Ej spent the most time with us, staying during his days of from work, and coming back 3 times. It was awesome! He even spent the day with us at Disneyland. We picked a great day to go, the weather was perfect and we got on all of the main rides so early in the day without having to wait in long lines. Ryan has this rule of getting there when the park opens at 8 and staying til it midnight!
We had a blast!! Enjoy the pictures
